BIBB Qualification Panel long

The BIBB Establishment Panel on Qualification and Skills Development is conducted with the aim of providing detailed information on the structures, developments and interrelationships of in-company qualification measures and in-company qualification-related labour demand. The longitudinal data set of the BIBB Establishment Panel on Qualification and Skills Development 2011 to 2017 long comprises a main data set and ten supplementary sub-data sets. The data set is specially designed for longitudinal evaluations. For evaluations of individual waves of the BIBB Qualification Panel it makes sense to fall back on the corresponding cross-sectional data set.

Number of cases: 24,075 observations from 13,473 establishments
Population: All establishments in Germany with at least one employee subject to social insurance contributions

Representative region: East and West Germany
Extrapolation: Extrapolation factors (based on the establishment register of the Federal Employment Agency (BA))
Weighting: Longitudinal and cross-sectional weights
