BIBB Establishment Panel on Qualification and Competence Development long

The BIBB Establishment Panel on Qualification and Competence Development (BIBB Training Panel) is conducted with the aim of providing detailed information on the structures, developments and interrelationships of in-company qualification measures and in-company qualification-related labour demand. The longitudinal data set of the BIBB Training Panel 2011 to 2019 long comprises a main data set and twelve supplementary sub-data sets. The data set is specially designed for longitudinal evaluations. For evaluations of individual waves of the BIBB Training Panel it makes sense to fall back on the corresponding cross-sectional data set.

Number of cases: 32,135 observations from 15,918 establishments
Population: All establishments in Germany with at least one employee subject to social insurance contributions

Representative region: East and West Germany
Extrapolation: Extrapolation factors (based on the establishment register of the Federal Employment Agency (BA))
Weighting: Longitudinal and cross-sectional weights
