Region

Regions can be used twofold; n first as analysis units and second to append further information (e.g. indicators on spatial and urban developments in Germany and Europe, INKAR). If you are interested in analysing regional indicators, please contact the BIBB-FDZ team.
Some of the regional classifications shown are related to each other. For example, the district can be aggregated to spatial planning regions and these, in turn, to federal states. These relationships between the classifications are shown under 'Related classifications'.
