Training credit
From 2009 to 2022, the training credit was used to support further training measures that impart job-specific knowledge or skills, as well as further training that serves to strengthen general employability. It was initiated by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and supported by the European Social Fund (ESF). The aim was to make it easier for people on low incomes in particular to access continuing training programmes. The Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training housed the Training Credit Programme Office, which was responsible for providing technical support and advice on the implementation of the programme. The Training Credit Programme Office provided scientific support for the implementation of the training credit. The datasets listed here originate from this work.
